Fort Kochi , is known as a natural harbor and place of historical importance. A stroll along the beach and watching the fishermen working with the Chinese fishing net as well as the ships entering the Kochi from the Arabian Sea is a sight to behold. Santa Cruz Basilica - Originally built by the Portuguese in 1558, it was later demolished and in its place, a new building appeared in 1887. Let my announcement for the first story published in 2009 be about the one titled "Old Meets New" in Jetwings (January 2009). Jetwings is the in-flight magazine of Jetairways. The story concentrates on what's a Nalukettu and Ettukettu (the traditional designs of Kerala architecture) and its modern forms, which is widely popular, especially with the higher-income segment.
